Phil Neville is the better looking of the Neville brothers, in footballing circles he is a household name, he has 59 England caps and has won every honour that there is to win.
He joined Everton in August 2005 on a five year deal for £3.5m and made his debut against Villareal in the UEFA Cup. He was later to play against his brother Gary in another Premiership first.
He scored his first goal for Everton in a 3-0 home win against Newcastle on 30th December 2006 and in the 2009 FA Cup Semi Final Phil scored in the successful penalty shoot out against his old club but did not celebrate. Captain Phil went on to lead Everton out in the 2009 FA Cup Final.
Phil has been a great Everton captain. He has brought a winning mentality to Everton and is a great role model to the younger players.
Phil retired from football at the end of his Everton contract in Summer 2013.
