Alan Ball R.I.P. Thanks for the Memories
Alan Ball R.I.P. Thanks for the Memories

On this day in 1967 Everton beat the shite 1-0 at Goodison Park in 5th Round of the FA Cup.

Who's the Greatest of the All? Little Curly Alan Ball scored the goal to send The Toffeemen into the Quarter Final.

The game was also beamed back to analfield, 64,318 watched at Goodison and a further 40,169 watched at the other place giving a record total crowd of 104, 487.

Another Everton first!

I didn't go the game, but remember the build up to it and my greatest ever blue Alan Ball got the winner.
