For all you anoraks out there, here are the stats after our win yesterday against the Pie Eaters:

And Somehow We Keep On Winning ......

- .... we're now unbeaten in 7 games, home and away (3-4-0)
- and we've suffered just 2 defeats in our last 28 matches in the Prem - a 13-13-2 run
- at Goodison, we're 10-4-0 in our last 14 games in all competitions and 9-4-0 in the Prem

- and we are 16-6-1 in our last 27 home outings, 12-5-1 in the last 18 in the Prem at Fortress Goodison
- we can't stop scoring either- we've now scored in 16 successive Premier League games, home and away
- and that increases our record longest ever scoring run in the Prem

- but we keep conceding too- the daft Kone goal for Wigan means we've now gone 14 Prem matches without a clean sheet- that equals our worst ever Premier League run, which we last 'achieved' from April to October 2008
- we seem to like playing at this time of year!- we're now 7-3-1 in our last 11 Christmas and New Year games
- click here to see our full historical record over the festive period

- congratulations to Phil Jagielka on his 150th Premier League start for Everton
- and congrats on his goal too
- his 7th in total for us and his 5th for us in the Prem
- we've won all 5 of the League games he's scored in!

- Leon Osman's goal, assuming he gets to keep it, was his 47th for us in all competitions
- he's 48th on our All-Time Scorers' list, one goal behind the great Bobby Collins
- Phil Neville made his 500th Premier League appearance against Wigan- that's 210 starts and 53 as a sub for Man Utd and 232+5 for Everton
- in all competitions, Cap'n Pip has now made 293 (285+8) appearances for Everton- he's joint 37th with Gary Stevens on our All-Time Appearances list

- and so on to Chelsea at home on December 30th
- we've won on our last 2 outings on that date- this 3-0 win over Newcastle, back in 2006, was the last one
- against Chelsea we've been, perhaps surprisingly, pretty good in recent seasons- we're 3-4-2 in our last 9 meetings in all competitions, home and away

- and at Goodison, we're 3-1-0 in their last 4 Premier League visits, winning all of the last 3- last season we came out 2-0 on top
- this time round it'll be our 300th match live on UK television - click here for details
- and 2 goals will take us to 400 at home in all games under David Moyes's leadership ...
