Darron Gibson has been released by the FAI for the friendly against USA on Tuesday night at the Aviva stadium.

The reason given by the FAI is a "minor knock to the knee."

Gibbo was subbed after 70 minutes during the 1-0 defeat by Scotland last night.

Let's hope this is not too serious. Good luck Gibbo

Another knee injury more than likely to the same knee. The guy is just laughing along with Kone. I'm sure there having a competition to see who can have the most time off. Cash in on the pair of them in jan

I hope he is fit for the West Ham game. We need him fit and focused on Everton after his nightmare year last year. Hope Gibson is ok.
