South Africa must beat France today to have any chance of qualifying for the next stage of the World Cup. Everton's Steven Pienaar is hoping the home supporters will give Bafana Bafana the edge with their fanatical support. Hail the vuvuzela!
Pienaar said: "We are positive and have been working very hard the past few days. What is in the past is left there in the past and we have moved forward now as a group. France is a different match at a different venue and on a whole new day. We are looking forward to the match and we have been training as per normal. It's normal when you lose for your heads to go down, but by the next day after the Uruguay game we were okay and we left that game behind us.
When we got to Bloemfontein we had an amazing reception at the airport. The people here are always friendly and warm. We all remember last year in June how the people of Bloemfontein lifted our spirit against Spain. Remember how they helped Khune save the penalty? So we are looking forward to the game and we hope you are too!"
