Everton legend Peter Reid will be at Everton One - next to Goodison Park next Thursday 19th July to launch the new Nike kit.

Everton Football Club has launched its home kit campaign for the 2012/13 season.

The new strip is now available to pre-order on evertondirect.com and will go on sale in store and online on Thursday, 19th July.

The stylish Royal Blue jersey is the Club's first home kit to feature the famous Nike swoosh, after the global sportswear giant became Everton's technical partner for next term.

The classic shirt features broad white cuffs and a white v-neck trim, and is made from Nike Dri-Fit fabric which is lightweight and manages perspiration, keeping players dry and comfortable for 90 minutes and beyond.

The shirt is also part of Nike's Considered Design programme aimed at reducing environmental impact, and consists of 100% recycled material.

Supporters can see the Royal Blue home strip in action for the first time this Saturday for the Blues' pre-season friendly against Morecambe.

The striking 2012/13 black away strip with yellow detail was launched last month as the first offering from Nike and has already proved popular with supporters.

The home kit will be officially launched on Thursday, 19 July with an event at Everton One, adjacent to Goodison Park, where Blues legend Peter Reid will be in store to meet fans as they get their hands on the shirt for the first time.

Agree with the above comments, not keen on the white cuff, too big. Black away kit it is then!

I like it I think it's different to the crap we've had of late especially that Le Coq one with the stupid white V on it and stitching that made it look more like a body armour design but the kit looks good thumbs up from me :) COYB IMWT.

Awful, those white fluffs on the sleeves make us look like a clown act. More Royal Blue and less trimmings, too late now though. On the plus side, the last time i really detested our strip was in the 'Lineker Era' with the kids bib and we did well then so i am hoping for something similar.
