My first match was against Coventry at Goodison Park around Easter time Sunday 11th April 1999.
A Super Kev double in a 2-0 win. I picked up the blue bug.

A crowd of 32,341 saw Walter Smith's Everton play with 4 centre halves against Gordon Strackan's Coventry. Kevin Campbell scored after 28 minutes in a game which saw 8 players get the yellow card. Marco Materazzi got sent off in the 85th minute for his second booking and with 2 minutes to go a second goal from Campbell secured the points for Everton.
