Bluekipper F.C. have played their first games for two months which has seen them progress in the NFSL Challenge Cup with a 1-0 victory over Wrexham SFC and go back to the top of the League.

The Blues who where playing their first home game since October enjoyed most of the early possession on a awful pitch but could not convert in the final third with David Devaney and Liam Jones guilty of missing the target but as the half continued more chances were made and sparned until on the stroke of half time when Adam Brophy headed home from a Liam Jones corner to give the home side the lead, the Wrexham players claimed the ball had not crossed the line but to no avail as the goal was given.

The Second half continued in similar fashion as the first with Kipper creating most of the chances but letting themselves down in front of goal and so the game finished 1-0 with a make shift Wrexham side offering very little, it wasnt pretty but a win is a win.

And this week it was back to League action with a comfortable 8-1 victory over Morecambe.

The Blues knew a good victory would see them return to the top of the Northern Supporters League and they set out in the fashion to reclaim it going close to taking the lead on numerous occasions in the first half but it wasn't until mid way through the half when Ynyr Jones playing in more advanced role picked the ball up 30 yards out and let rip with a strike that moved in the air before settling in the top corner and this was quickly followed by four more goals before Half time with Liam Jones also scoring with a thunderous strike and a 15 minute perfect Hat Trick from Matty McKeown which saw the strike reach 11 goals for the season.

With the Blues coasting changes were made at the start of the Second half which put the team out of their stride and soon they conceded a sloppy goal and were on the back foot for a short period but a another goal from Man of the Match Ynyr Jones steadied the ship, Captain Ged McAlley was soon on the score sheet thanks to good work from Lee Lawson and the rout was complete when Joey Lomas latched on a through ball to calmly lob the keeper and return the Blues back to the top of the League.
