Everton reserves lost in the final of the ARR Craib Cup to Partick Thistle yesterday afternoon, losing 3-1.
The Rezzies were playing their second game of the weekend having beaten Airdrie United on Saturday.
Partick went ahead after just two minutes of kick off and did the same in the second half to go two up. Conor McAleny pulled one back for the Blues before Stuart Banningan restored Thistle's two goal lead. Ross Barkley came closest to reducing the deficit but the Scottish side ran out easy winners.
Stubbsy will be disappointed with the slow starts and the result.
