Everton boss Roberto Martinez was given some good news on the injury front with Kone, Lukaku, Mirallas and Pienaar all joining in training with the first team squad.

Kone should start, but the others will be assessed and if not in the starting line up could make the bench.

Roberto said: "We had three knocks at QPR. Of those, Darron Gibson and Romelu Lukaku missed their international matches and Romelu will have a fitness test tomorrow. We'll make a decision based on that. He's 50/50.

"Darron Gibson hasn't joined the group yet but we're hopeful he could make it for weekend and Arouna Kone is 100 per cent fit; he trained yesterday.

"Kevin Mirallas has joined the group again and we're going to assess him, and the same for Steven Pienaar. We'll see how those two do in the next two training days.

"Tony Hibbert and Bryan Oviedo are the only two players definitely not available."

Everton Squad: Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Baines, Lennon, McCarthy, Gibson, Osman, Lukaku, Kone, Robles, Garbutt, Browning, Alcaraz, Besic, Barkley, Naismith, Barry, Mirallas.

Lard's starting XI: Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Baines, Lennon, McCarthy, Barry, Osman, Barkley, Kone.

We need to start picking a team for next season, as we've got fuck all else to do this season. Would go Robles, Coleman, Jags,Stones, Garbutt, Macarthy, Gibson,Lennon&,Baines, with Barkley behind Lukaku.

This will be one hard match. They're on a roll and we're still struggling. I'll settle for a draw if the injured ones can't make it. I can't see us winning, given the situation.

I hope ROM is fit,if not Naisy as to start up front.Don't rate kone one bit.Couldn't hit a barn door.Don't know how he scored 13 goals for Wigan and scored against us under Moyes.

Kone is fit. How can you tell? His speed? His instinctive first-time ball control? His fearsome shooting? He's a one-dimensional dummy - get shut! Fed up with us fielding apologies for Premiership footballers. Hate to be negative - but let us please get very real about what we expect in a blue shirt. And I really hope we win, and win well, cos some of us remember the completely toothless performance we offered our travelling fans down at their place. Ninety minutes of high-tempo focused attacking football please.
