We Want A Win
We Want A Win

Everton have no new injury worries for the Swansea game.

Lukaku and Gibson are fit after picking up knocks.

Long term casualties, Kevin Mirallas, John Stones, Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone are still missing.

Roberto said: "You don't play games to look back at the last time you played against that opposition. For us, it's more about where we are now.

"We're getting towards the end of the start of the league campaign and it's very important that we finish this first third of the season really strongly.

"The next three fixtures before the international break are really important for us to make sure that we are in a perfect position for where we want to be.

"We're facing a Swansea team we respect a lot. I think Swansea City have got a footballing philosophy that everyone can see, they've been mastering it over the years and I think there is a real understanding of what they do and how they bring a real technical approach into their performances.

"So, we know what we're facing at the weekend and we know we'll have to be at our best. But we do feel that we're starting to hit a very good moment of form, starting to get momentum in terms of our results and we want that to continue."

Everton squad:  Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Baines, Distin, Browning, Barry, Naismith, Lukaku, Pienaar, Robles, Alcaraz, Besic, Gibson, Atsu, Osman, Eto'o, Garbutt, Hibbert, McCarthy, Pienaar.

Sausage's starting XI: Howard, Coleman, Alcaraz, Jagielka, Baines, Barry, McCarthy, Naismith, Barkley, Eto'o, Lukaku.

Ste Belfast: He went back under the knife to have the screws taken out of his leg. The club said it was only minor procedure but has obviously knocked him back a bit.

Can't see Barkley Eto'o and Rom starting. I think Eto'o can't be dropped, Lukaku will play and Barkley from bench with Nais getting the nod. Bird man will get a start but I can't say he fills me with confidence...

For me its got to be; Howard,Jagielka,Coleman,Distin,Baines as the defence, although I guess RM will give the berth to the birdman. Barry,McCarthy,Barkley and Pienaar in Midfield, but I wouldn't mind seeing either Besic or Gibson given a go. With Swansea I think we need to take charge of the middle of the field and break from there. I'd play Eto'o and Naismith as the strikers and let Lukaku come on as an impact sub. If you need any more Robby you know where to find me.
