Everton flew out of John Lennon airport to Lille this morning in their Blackberry training tops to prepare for the Europa League game in Group H.

Leading scorer Steven Naismith and Leon Osman were left at home. Roberto has given them a rest after Saturday's 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

So who will replace those two from Saturday's team and will Martinez make any other changes?

Atsu, Eto'o, McGeady and Gibson all started in Krasnodar. But it could be that Roberto may play Samuel Eto'o in place of Naisy and Steven Pienaar in place of Ossie.

Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone were also missing together with injured players Kevin Mirallas and John Stones.

On the plus side academy goalkeeper, Russell Griffiths was on the plane. Obviously giving the 18 year old some experience.

Everton squad: Howard, Joel, Griffiths, Coleman, Baines, Hibbert, Browning, Garbutt, Jagielka, Distin, Alcaraz, Gibson, McCarthy, Barry, Besic, Barkley, Pienaar, Atsu, McGeady, Lukaku, Eto'o.

Lard's starting XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Baines, McGeady, Gibson, Barry, Pienaar, Eto'o, Lukaku.

What do you think the team will be?

Howard Coleman Jags Alcaraz Baines McCarthy Barry Besic Barkley Eto'o Lukaku In a 4 3 1 2 formation Midfield stays nice and narrow, Baines and Coleman can bomb down the wings, Barkley creates and Rom and Eto'o do the business. Peanuts for Ross when either the game is won or Toss neefs a rest.

Not sure Ossie needs a rest, now Ross is back I can't see him starting regularly. I'd rather he played tomorrow and save Ross for Sunday. Whoever plays though will be in for a fight, Lille are no mugs. I'd be happy with a point, with 2 home games to come, but a win would pretty much see us through I reckon. COYB!!

Yes, Roberto. Leave our leading goal scorer out, not just from the team, but from the entire squad. Where is the sense in that? Naisy could have come off the bench if things aren't going well, and maybe poach a vital goal. Or are we now treating the Europa like the Capital Cup? Beat Lille and we are virtually guaranteed to qualify, play your best team, man, and forget this rotation crap. Why do we need to take three keepers? This is a weak squad and though I'll be cheering the team on, I think this squad selection is aimed at securing a draw at best.

I hope we get a decent result from this match.I just don't quite get these selections. Why take Shay,Hibbo and Ty,all of whom play in the same position, but leave Bryan at home?He didn't figure last year until they were forced to play him and then couldn't drop him until he broke his leg in two places. If he doesn't get game time he'll be wanting away.I for one won't blame him.
