It look like Rom will be fit to play against his old team and he will be desperate to put in a great performance.

Expect Samuel Eto'o to start on the bench. Have Everton ever had a stronger squad to have subs of such star quality?

It will be a tossup between  Aiden or Ossie to replace the injured Peanuts.

Roberto said: "I think Rom has found a very strong inner motivation - I don't think he is motivated by who he is facing. I think it has been more about his role and status at Everton.

"He is a vital player for us and I think he is enjoying that. He has embraced it.

"I feel we are going to see the best of Rom this season. We are really excited about his performances in all competitions - not because he is facing a former club."

Everton from: Howard, Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Barry, McCarthy, Osman, Eto'o, Lukaku, Robles, Hibbert, Stones, Alcaraz, Gibson, Besic, McGeady, Naismith, Mirallas, Atsu.

Sausages Starting XI: Tim, Seamus, Jags, Buzz, Bainsey, Macca, Baz, Super Kev, Naisy, Aiden, Rom.

Oh dear!! Still reckon we can get 3rd or 4th place, Prem wise, though. The many Kipper contributors who have long been pointing out Everton's defects have been proved right. Bring somebody in before the deadline RM.

He had a really good game against the Arse despite not scoring and playing with an injury. Everyone loved the way he made a mug of their defence for the second goal. More of that today please.
