Are you ready? I said are you ready?

I genuinely think we need to go for it from the start. Everyone is fit and rearing to go and the only slight doubt is Tim Cahill. But from what we've heard he will be ok

With that in mind I think Tim will play upfront supporting Louis Saha. I think Louis has got a point to prove and you couldn't get a better game to do it. Also Saha is better starting a game rather than coming on as a sub. You then would have back up on the bench with Denis and Tolos

The more difficult decision is the middle of the park. I would go with Jack and Felli with Seamus and  Royston on the wide places. But I think Moyesy will find a spot for Ossie probably on the left. That would mean leaving Phil Neville and Johnny on the bench. A big call to make. One that I don't think David Moyes will make

At the back it will be the usual again with Tony Hibbert beating Phil Neville to the right back spot. Whoever puts the blue shirt one will die for the cause something that Sylvain Distin knows all about

Sylvain said: "The derby is an important game, we can feel that from the fans. But for us it is just another big game. And so we are getting ready for it like any other big game.

"What can you do? It is just another football game. We know it is a special atmosphere, but on the pitch it is the same as playing any other team. There is no special preparation."

"It is more the fans who create the special atmosphere. Maybe foreign players don't really understand what it is about at first, but it is a special day.

"Derbies in every country are special but in England they are completely different, and that is because of the fans. It is a special atmosphere, a special game. And because of that atmosphere you can feel a little more tension on the pitch.

"You can have some good tackles as well, but they are the kind of things where you need to be careful and try not to be too hard, and to just think about the football.

"Those kind of things can make it a slightly different game. But once the game starts, and after maybe a couple of yellow cards, then it goes back to being a normal football game.

Sausage's Team To Start:  Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Drenthe, Cahill, Saha

What is everyone on here? As if Moyes is all of a sudden going to go all-out attack just because it's Liverpool. It's just another game to him so he will probably start with no strikers again. In for a bore draw or a hammering, I fear.

Cahill and Neville should not be in the squad tomorrow (they will be), Neither of them are worth their place. Please Mr Moyes go with the following; Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Drenthe, Saha, Velios. Subs: Mucha, Billy, Osman, Heitinger, Barkley, Gueye. Unlikely to happen, but am I the only one fed up wth 4-6-0 to fit in his favourites!!

Think Jim from Southport has guessed DM's tactics best there, reckon he will def play a holding/defensive midfielder in there and Pip will get the nod. My preferred starting 11 however would be Howard, Neville, Jags, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Osman, Drenthe, Cahill and Saha. Whatever side is sent out there though, I just want to see some attacking and some passion. COYB FTRS!!!

My team is Saha and Cahill up top. Nev in for Hibbo. Hibbo has played well lately but Nev gets tighter and stops crosses coming in. Felli, Rodders, Seamus and Ossie and of course bainsey, buzz and jags. Bout time we let rip and had a real go - like we did to spurs at home last season. Drenthe and Velios ready to come on. The shite are over rated, but let's not sit back. COYB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

really need to play with at least 1 recognised striker from the start. 4-1-4-1 howard; hibbo, jags, distin, baines; neville; coleman, rodwell, felli, drenthe; saha.

Drop Ossie who's far too inconsistent. Drop Neville, and even possibly drop Cahill. 442 usual back 4, midfield of Coleman, Rodwell, Felli, Drenthe and Vellios with Saha up top. We'd destroy the shite with this team.

Surely at home to the redshite , Moyes has to go with 2 up front with Roy and Coleman on the wings.. COYB

He will not start with Barkley, he will play the usual team that would stop the game from being stretched. I think he will play Neville because he is important to us in these games. I suspect a very defensive midfield with Coleman, Cahill and Osman as our attacking threat. Howard Hibbert - Jags - Distin - Baines Neville Coleman - Rodwell - Felli - Osman Cahill I would be surprised if its anything but this. I am hoping for Cahill to support a target man, but I doubt this will happen. You know that Cahill will give his all regardless of a knock to his shin. I am not sure if any of the new lads know what these games mean.

My Dream team would be Tolos and Tim upfront with Maggie, Rodwell (of 2 years ago) Osman and Coalman. For the back I'd put in the usual suspects. Why no Felli? Coz the Ref would give him a Red for no reason well before the break, and we can't have that!

Cant see Captain Neville not starting for the big game. See a few changes from the side who played against the billionairres. My guess is Howard, Hibbert, Jags, Distin, Baines, Barkley, Neville, Rodwell, Drenthe, Cahill, Louis...Subs Fellaini, Osman, Coleman, Heitinga, Strak......, Mucha and Vellios. Fellaini doesnt deserve to start over Rodwell given recent performances. Barkley deserves a chance to start again in a position he is getting used to and Drenthe's pace behind a Red defence that turns slower than a damaged U boat should allow some gaps to be exploited. IF that team was selected I'd bet on Everton to sneak it 3-2 with goals from Drenthe, Cahill and Louis but we all know by now that Moyes will probably play Neville,Heitinga and Rodwell in Centre Mid, Coleman at RW with Osman LW and Cahill up top meaning 6/7 defenders on the pitch and hoping to sneak a 1-0

Think you're right with the option of playing Ossie instead of Roy - as usual Moysey will go for the usual suspects (which would normally include Nev). So I think most people would pick 10 leaving the 50/50 call Roy vs. Ossie. Me? our own 'Mr.T' will do nicely! 2-1 Blues.

I'm not sure Drenthe will start and for a Derby match I think captain Phil will be set the task of marshalling the midfield with Rodwell missing out. Howard, Hibbert, Jags, Disitn, Baines, Coleman, Neville, Felliani, Ossie, Cahill and Saha

i like all evertonians am praying not just for a win, but a great performance while we do. just to emphasise the fact that our norwegian neighbours have spent 62m in the summer transfer window compared to our lowly big fat zero!! we need to start with at least a striker on the field on saturday to be in with at least half a chance. being a punchbag like we were against city just aint an option. im goin 1-0 and the blue kangaroo to do what he does best...score against the redshite!!!! and suarez to get sent off, worth a cheeky 5er of anyones money.
