Aaron Ramsay
Rambo
has plumed for the arse after being flown out to Switzerland by
the Gunners for face-to-face talks with Arsene Wenger, who is
at Euro 2008. So Everton's meeting at the Little Chef in Ormskirk
with him was all in vain. (10/06/08)
Cardiff
chairman Peter Ridsdale has revealed that he favours Man Utd to
be the team who buys Rambo, as they will loan him back to the
Welsh club. Presumably Everton will keep him if he signs.
Ridsdale
says: “We would prefer it if Aaron signed for Manchester
United to be honest. The simple reason being that, from our perspective,
we want him to come back to Cardiff next season. I am sure that
is something which all our supporters will be hoping for as well.
We have not sold him yet, he is still under contract. But when
you are talking about teams like United and Arsenal, they are
of such high status that from a player’s point of view, it is
just an honour to play for them.
I
think a lot of people have got a bit carried away with all this.
We are talking about a lad who is 17-years-old and has started
fewer than 20 games. He has obviously got a lot of talent, but
whichever team signs him is, in many ways, taking a gamble on
that potential progressing and being fulfilled. Nobody
has offered us more than £5m, to be honest. The situation
has been that bidding originally started at £1m which was
grossly under-valuing him. Once
it had risen to the price we thought fair, £5m, he was allowed
to speak to that club, which was Manchester United.” (07/05/08)
Cardiff
manager Dave Jones obviously wasn't reading from the same script
as Kevin Ratcliffe.
Jones
says: "We have no doubts whatsoever that Aaron could
make the grade at somewhere like Manchester United. We would not
let him go there if we had any doubts. United are the major force
in European football, if not the best club in the world, and with
the squad of players they have that domination is set to continue
for some time to come. I
believe Aaron can go there and play a valuable part in that in
the future." (05/06/08)
Everton's
most successful captain, Kevin
Ratcliffe has told his fellow country man, Rambo (to his best
mates) to go to Everton, as there will be a better chance of first
team football at Goodison Park than at the other nasty clubs involved.
He's also sure that the Cardiff management team of former Everton
players, Dave Jones and Paul Wilkinson will also point him in
the right direction.
The
Rat says: "I think it's about playing first-team
football. I think he has more of a chance at Everton of gaining
that first-team experience and going that next step. I would describe
him as an Arsenal-type player. A player who receives the ball
under pressure, is very, very composed, can pick a pass and score
a goal and is not afraid to make a tackle as well. He's got the
potential but he's still got a long way to go. I'm
sure Dave Jones will tell him everything he knows about the football
club and so will Paul Wilkinson. There's plenty of background
for him to get to know about the club from other people down there."
(05/06/08)
Jesus
this one snuck under the radar but Everton today had a £5m
bid accepted from Cardiff for young midfielder Aaron Ramsay. Aaron
or Gord (to his mates) has to decide whether its the Blues, arse
or manure, as the other clubs have also bid the golden figure
to Cardiff for their 17yr old wonder kid. Gord made twenty two
appearances last season for Dave Jones side, plus he got on the
pitch as a second half substitute in their FA Cup Final defeat
to Pompey last month. Over to you Gord, its one fiery Scotsman
or Our Dave who will be your boss next season, and believe me
Merseyside is Paradise compared to Manchester, plus it doesn't
rain as much. (04/06/08)

That's the view of his old boss Mick Woodward the manager of Grays

James Milner
Jimmy signed for Villa in a £10m deal. (30/08/08)
With
Jimmy handing in a transfer request, some people are saying that
Everton is his intended destination and a £10m fee will secure
the deal. (29/08/08)
Reports
from 'up north' say that Jimmy has had a chat with the manager of
the People's Club. It may have been about the price of fish. It
remains to be seen. (24/06/08)
Some
media people are speculating on Jimmy (to his mates) moving on this
Summer and with Everton reportedly after a wide man, the Newcastle
man foots the bill. Although only 22 years old he's played for Leeds,
Villa (on loan) and the Geordies making over 170 career appearances
scoring 14 goals. (30/05/08)

The

70 times in 82 games. He already has 7 goals in 12 Internationals
for Holland. He was the Dutch leagues leading goalscorer with
33 goals in 34 games. Good news is that he wants to play in the
Premiership. Bad news is that £16m is the price and Man
Utd are after him. (28/05/08)

Johno
(to his mates) is subject to media speculation that Everton are
looking at the possibility of prizing the 20 year old midfielder
away from Man City. With the future uncertain regarding the manager
and owner, the transfer could be a goer. Waiting in the wings

Steve Clarke
It's
been a while since Moyesy had a number two after Alan Irvine departed
to Preston back in 2007. Rumours in a few rags at the weekend
suggest that Chelski Number Two Steve Clarke may be jumping ship
from Stamford Bridge after the weekend sacking of Avrim Grant,
and Goodison Park could very well be his destination. If that
is the case his experience would be invaluable to Moyesy and he
could be our signing of the Summer. (26/05/08)

Nikola Zigic
Zigi
has 4 premiership clubs after his services. Everton, Blackburn,
Stoke and an unnamed club. Valencia want the money up front, but
Everton favour a loan deal.
His agent Milan Calasan says: "The kid is calm and
now we need to evaluate the options and decide which is the best
club." (28/08/08)
Valencia
vice-president Fernando Gomez has agreed to let Zigi join the
Premiership. He has a choice of either Everton or Villa.
Gomez
says:
"The
exit of Nikola Zigic is next to happen. Now, the decision lies
with them (Zigic and his agent) and Valencia is prepared to close
the deal." (26/08/08)
Everton
have moved to secure the services of Zigi from Valencia, after
the Spanish club decided to let the Serbian giant move on. Blackburn
and Stoke are monitoring the situation. (21/08/08)
A
three-time Serbian player of the year, Zigi (to his mates) wants
to have a go in England. Currently at Valencia, after scoring
plenty of goals for Red Star Belgrade and Racing Santander. The
6ft 7in giant has scored 11 times in 28 Internationals for Serbia.

chappie, he certainly could do a job for us.
Birmingham
owner David Gold says: "We have received bids for
Kapo but we don't need to sell him, and if we do we will replace
him like for like. We
have a £25million black hole following relegation, and we
have to bear that in mind. The team that got us relegated is a squad

Maik
Taylor the Birmingham and Northern Ireland keeper is on Moyesy's
radar as the Manager looks to tie up a decent number two to Tim
Howard. Maik or Alan Shearer to his mates may not fancy the prospect
of Championship football, and the temptation of a crack at Europe
albeit as a Number Two still may tempt the 36yr old to finish
his career at Goodison. (22/05/08)

Zoltan Gera
Zoltan has picked Fulham as his destination
in the Premiership.
Agent
Sam Stapleton says: "It's not down to money at all,
it's down to ambition and longevity of playing in the Premier
League." So Everton never went in for him then! (10/06/08)
According
to the media darn sarf, Fulham are favorites, just ahead of Boro
to capture the Hungry midfielder. Hungry is right. So rather than
play European togga with Everton he wants to better his game fighting
relegation. Must be paper talk or money talk. (05/06/08)
Zoltan's
agent has spoken. He is suggesting that a decision will be made
soon and he wants to improve himself. It could be us.
Sam
Stapleton says: “He has a couple of offers and he’ll

Joaquín Sánchez Rodríguez
Wackim will decide where he plays
this season when he has talks with with new Valencia sporting
director Juan Sanchez this week.
Wackim's
agent Eduardo Espejo says: 'Every
month in the Spanish and the foreign press there are different
stories about clubs who are interested in him. But it is not right
to say that there has been a financial offer from any of them.
There`s a lot going on at Valencia right now and there are big
changes - there`s a new president and a new sporting director.
We will be talking with them this week and then the player`s future
will become more clear. Before speaking with anybody else, we
want to know what Valencia have to say.' (15/07/08)
Wackim
seems keen on staying with Valencia, even though his agent has
been touting him about Europe. It depends on if new boss Unai
Emery wants to keep hold or cash him in to ease the financial
pressure on the Spanish club and release cash for other players.
Wackim
says: “There is interest from several teams who want
to know my future, but they must talk to my agent Juan Sanchez.
I will just say that I feel very good here and I hope to stay
for many years. I have always said that is my first choice because
Valencia made a big investment to sign me and I owe a lot to this
club.” (09/06/08)
Wackim's
agent has revealed he spoke to Everton last week.
Wackim's
agent Eduardo Espejo says: “Clubs such as Roma, Everton
and Tottenham are following him. I went to England a week ago
to listen to those propositions and today everything is in Valencia’s
hands. I have spoken to the Valencianista club to tell them that
the player’s first option is to stay here but not at whatever
price.” (29/05/08)
More
reports over the weekend say Everton are willing to pay £11m
for Wackim. (19/05/08)
Reports
from Spain say Everton have enquired about the flying winger.
The 25 year old International with over 50 Spanish caps maybe
released by Valencia, due to a financial crisis.
Joaquin's
Agent Eduardo Espejo says: "I
cannot deny that there have been offers from Italy and the Premier
League because European clubs are well aware of Valencia's well-documented
situation. I agree with what David Villa's agent said in the sense
that players are being devalued by the situation at Valencia,
but I can't say how much the club will ask for him."

Modeste M’Bami
Reports
that Everton are stepping up their bid to sign Mo. The fee Marsaille
want is said to be around £4m. (17/07/08)
Everton's
quest for a long term replacement for Lee Carsley may take them
to Marseille. Mo (to his mates) is a defensive midfield player with
25 Cameroon International caps. The 25 year old won Olympic gold
for his country in 2000. According to his agent every club is after
him.
Mo's
agent Jean-Christophe Thouvenel says: "There
is not only Everton. I am speaking about four English clubs, that
are not part of the top four but that are just behind them. Portsmouth
and Manchester City are good clubs, and a Spanish club is also interested.
Marseille
are interested in extending his contract by a further year, or maybe
two, as they do not want to see him leaving as a free agent next
year. His deal expires in June 2009. He has shown his talent in
the last six months at a position in front of the defence. There
are two options: he can extend his stay or move, and for him it
would be logical to join an English club." (30/04/08)
