You can still take great pride in The People's Club even though we're having a shit season.

This Sunday we are at home to Leicester City and it is an opportunity to celebrate the 27th anniversary of Everton in the Community (EitC), the charity headed by deputy CEO, Doctor Denise Barrett-Baxendale.

The day will feature family activities and a chance to contribute to the charity if you want to. You can get limited edition #eitc Blue Noses with a suggested cost of £2 to help promote it. You might win a prize if you are pictured wearing one of them. You can get them at Everton One, Everton Two and the Park End reception. On match day they will be on sale around the ground and in the Fanzone. Direct donations of £2 can be made by texting "EITC £2" to 70070 or visiting https://www.justgiving.com/evertonfc/

It isn't all about millionaire footballers and agents, transfer fees and billion pounds TV deals. Without the fans, football is nothing.
